well, the final court date is set for the morning of October 4th....ugh. The dissolution settlement gives me 100% of the house (her and the OM moved into a house a few weeks back) and residential custody of my two daughters. W pays child support of $180/mo. and visits 2-3 nights per week plus EOW. All for under $1000.00 in legal costs (I had a coupon).<BR> I think I mentioned this last time, but she's told me since that "she knows things aren't perfect between him & her, but she's willing to make it work". She also told me that "I let her go". Man oh man...<BR> Even if it comes to her and I someday getting back together, I'd like to see it happen post-dissolution, maybe a year or two down the road. Theo,<BR>Sounds like you are holding up okay. It must take time for them to wake up. I thought after my divorce, x would wake up, but here it is 8 months down the road and she is still in a fog about what is going on around her(she asked where our d was, when she knows she has cross country practice everyday after school.)<P>That is why I no longer even make plans with the kids with x even in mind, because they aren't number one in her mind. I can't be responsible for for her relationship with the kids or with me, so I concentrate my efforts on my kids and myself. If she can help, great, if not, that's her problem.<P>Hang in!<P>Bob

I know what you mean, Bob...it's like I'm not speaking English <BR>to her sometimes; I've heard "I don't understand what you mean" <BR>more times in the past six months then I heard in our ten years <BR>of marriage.
