I have spent the last couple days in cedar point with my ex.
We had a really great time with our soon to be 7 year old daughter.
We spent the whole day today talking and even though i thought it was going to end on a sour note.
It ended up positive. I am still here with him and we finished off the day cleaning his house up and talking about our feelings and where we have been for the past year.
It isn't easy going through all of this stuff, but at the sametime i realize that it is better to put it all on the table and find 9out what exactly is left over after hearing it all.
I will admit i am still very afraid.
But in order to start on a better playing field i have to open my heart and believe in him as i once had trusted him with my life.
We have even decided to goto church!
Every sunday!
This impresses me because i gave him an out and he didn't take it.
This makes me incredibly happy.
Not to say that we'll work but i feel good when we have days like this. I could still feel loved needed and desired. I hope he feels all the same emotions.
Treading lightly but anxiously.
I wish i could fast forward to see the ending.

rtn,
Take it slow and have faith that what is meant to be, will be. Always be yourself and expect the best and one day, it will all make sense.
Church is a great place to start, good luck!
God Bless you and your husband. I was just browsing through the board when I thought to myself, "it is such a shame that there is rarely any good news being posted here" - then I read yours. Sounds like it wasn't a huge break-through, but it is a start. Now it gets tough - You both probably have so many issues and problems to talk through and overcome. It lifts my heart to see that you BOTH are going to church. Fully bringing God into your lives at this stage is so important.
If/when it gets tough, pray to God for the strength and courage to continue. He loves all marriages and as long as you continue to ask for His help, he won't disappoint you.
Chin up. God Bless.

Hi there I am very happy to hear this. I hope that things work out for the two of you. I think going to church is the best thing. I will keep you both in my prayers. Whatever advice I can give you I hope I can be of help.
Katerina

The last week has been pretty great.
We've spent every night together and talked on the phone at least 2 times a day. Talking on the phone even to say hello is really helping me because hearing his voice gives me a little strength. (because he sounds excited to hear from me) Although the other day he sounded distant. So it ruined my day but that night he brought me a hot chocolate and a real estate ad. We've been talking for while about what it would be like to live together again. The next night we couldn't get a sitter to go out. So, he bought coupons for the movies and when he gave them to me said "this is your raincheck so you know we'll be going in the future" I felt wonderful. Up until that point i was feeling a little sad.
Tonight when i came home from work, he told me to lay down and when i woke up an hour later dinner was served to me in bed!!! So afterwards i let him rest while i did the dishes and cleaned the living room and bathroom for him. (actually when i said home technically it is his house)
read you guys later.
Tomorrow will be our first time in church.
I'm really looking forward to it!!!
Thanks for the views!
