Gee, he want's to talk to me... I know that I've got to fill out some papers for the insurance, but he said there are some other things he wants to talk about.
Well, he offered dinner, and I've never been one to pass up a free meal. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I bet he is going to tell me he got a job and is moving out of state.... do you think it would be rude to order a bottle of champaign as soon as he tells me??? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Maybe he will say he finally found a way to refinance the loans we have together, so we can seperate them.... that would be GREAT news.... I can pay off my share, and then he can move away, and I can get on with my life with out wondering if he will make the payments, or if I'm going to run into him at the mall.
Gee, what if he says he's discovered he can't live without me???? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I guess I'll just have to ask him if he still wants to be cremated? Sorry, that was petty.
Maybe, he's getting married again.... that would be something.... I'd have to try really hard not to laugh, or toss my cookies... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] TeeHee TeeHee.
Ok, so I'm feeling a little punchy, and I'm wondering what is soooo important that he can't tell me over the phone. I guess I'll find out about 6... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
God, I know I sounded so.... at ease .... about the things he wanted to talk about, but now I can't quit crying.... This SUCKS.
I don't want to care.... I really don't, but I still (somewhere, down in my misguided heart) love him a little... I have to to let this upset me so much.
Well, this is what he had to say...
1) He is moving back to Missori... not only is he moving, but he also had to tell me he is going to be moving in with a woman who he has been seeing. Even though he said he didn't start seeing her until Feb, I get a feeling he started seeing her before we (make that HE) gave up on trying to get back together.
2) His cancer is back. This is what is hurting me the most... I've been crying for over 4 hours...
He only has one kidney, and there is a tumor on it, and it can't be removed with surgery... he really looks bad, very sick. If the experimental meds don't work, they give him 12-18 months if that long.
3) He wanted to tell me in person that he cried when he found out my Grandmother died... he said he loved her, and that he was sorry.
4) His dad has cancer too.
5) And, oh, by the way, the twinky has moved back to town.... great.
I didn't want to admit this, even to myself, but when I talked to him (he called when I was on my way to Granny's funeral), when we were getting ready to hang up, I started to tell him that I missed him and I love him... that scared me then, and now.... well, I'm not sure how I feel about it now.
It must be dump all bad things on Butterfly week.... I'd say it can't get any worse, but then it would.
I'm going to go to bed now, I'll see ya'll tomorrow.
B

{{{{{{{{DAWNETTA}}}}}}}}}
Yes, I would agree you that right now, life sucks. You are in my thoughts, as is your relationship.
Keep in touch with your X, even though you are divorced, as possibly that could make a difference in his recovery.
If you need us we are here for you, lets us know how you are coping.
thl

thl,
Thanks for the hug. I'm feeling better today... I guess it was a lot of shock yesterday, and being emotionally vulnerable from everything else that has happend.
I don't know why I got so upset... I have a new person in my life (ok, an old person... ummm, actually a person I've known for a long time, that sounds better [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]). We are slowly rebuilding our friendship into a relationship.... very slowly.
Well, gotta get back to work....
B

Dawnetta - I'm so sorry!! I know it was tough.
I went through a long time when I simultaneously loved and hated x. It's only human to hope...... He left your home but now he's leaving the area and he's in poor health. This is not good.
Big hugs to you. And lots of prayers.
--Cinderella

Oh Dawnetta,
I am so sorry - I hadn't read this before. There is nothing really to say. There is so much about the body that we don't understand, medicine can do alot, so can the power of prayer.
