Why is it that it takes two signatures to apply for a marriage license, yet it only takes one to file for divorce?

I hadn't thought of that. Kind of sad, isn't it. Usually 2 want the marriage, but I bet more often than not, only one wants to end it. I know that's how it is with me.<P>------------------<BR>nick<P>it's only time that heals the pain and makes the sun come out again

Beats me. It is the reason I won't be getting married again though. I refuse to be divorced against my will and live with that stigma.
