Not really sure if this is the right icon... but, just got off the phone with H (He actually asked me to call). It was a friendly and light conversation. Talked about the days events, etc... We didn't get caught up in the sadness and my tears. Twice today actually. Hate to start to having hope if I shouldn't, but at least right now he isn't avoiding me.. Any clues out there? Trying not to be too hopeful...
Maybe this isn't anything (trying to talk myself out of this so that I don't fall too hard), but it was NORMAL!! Who knew how good NORMAL could feel. Only thing better would have been a genuine hug or kiss!!! (or more)
Anyway, just wanted to get it off my chest without saying it to him (Dont want to scare him). Left the conversation with "I'll call you tomorrow" from him. (PS-He said he loved me also!!) Ok, time for me to come down off this high, I know it doesn't mean that much, but I want to enjoy it while I can. Tomorrow is another day..

Good for you. We don't know what the future will bring for any of us, but anytime you can end a conversation with your spouse and you get to experience the warm fuzzies you should savor it.
------------------
If a relationship is to evolve, it must go through a series of endings.
-- Lisa Moriyama

I know exactly how you feel...you hope for the best but expect the worse. You feel good and that sinking feeling in your chest leaves then you start second guessing everthing. Does he mean what he says? Will he call? Does he love me still? I don't know the ins and outs of your situation but you are in love with this man and you want your marriage back. If he doesn't call you tomorrow, try your best not to call him. Make him wonder, if he wants to talk to you he WILL call. Hang in there and keep praying to God for guidance...that is one man that will NEVER leave your side.
God Bless

Thanks guys! The really stupid thing about it is that I haven't been able to sleep for a week now (not more than an hour or two a night) and now I am too happy to sleep!! What a roller coaster, but the true upside to all of this that I am NOT giving up!!
