After some five months of pain and sometimes unbearable pain, I am moving forward. It is not easy to be a sigle parent and see the kids two days per week but I deserve more than a woman who needs to look beyond what is available to her and have an affair.
I forgive her and would probably still take her back but I will no longer feel the intense pain I once felt. I am a good person who deserves a partner who can look within and not outside for answers.
I can feel good on my own and I don't need a woman to be ok, it will be nice sometime in the future to maybe find a partner who is capable and wants to really develop a relationship.
My kids will still have a dad who expresses positive and moral principles as well as lives them!
To all of you still in pain, it does get better and I continue to pray nightly for all of us and our families who are suffering.
God Bless!
TED

Yes it does get better. Letting go truly eased my pain. Like I've said before, plan A is not for wimps. It was the toughest time of my life, but I got something good out of it even though my wife didn't come back. A better me. And I will continue to plan A for life.
Yes you can feel good on your own and I'm sure the future has someone special in it for you.

------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain and makes the sun come out again

I've missed hearing from you. I'm so glad you've posted. Letting go frees you to heal. It's not fun and it's not easy but it is something which, sometimes, we simply have to do.
