Well, in less than 24 hours my X will be leaving the state. I talked to him this weekend, he is taking our babies with him... he made a comment about "we need to get them something to keep them calm on the trip"... and for the first time the "WE" in association with OUR BABIES was not me. I guess his new girlfriend/live-in is here to help him move.
Ok, I know that it's the fact that I won't ever see my babies again that is making me sad. I keep coming up with excuses to go over there so I can see them one last time. But, part of me doesn't want to see her... part of me does.
Maybe I'll just do a drive by and see if they are there... if not, then I'll stop and see my babies.
I guess I just needed to vent a little.... time to get back to work, and then make my decission on the way home.
Thanks for listening/reading.
B

I would do it to for the kids and to show her up.. and perhaps that will make them both feel the guilt..!
not knowing your story.. I am only specualting.. but you go girl. kiss those babies up, and make a scene thats unforgetable.. to all!!!!!! (at least thats what I would do!)
sorry.. AV,
Thanks for the hugs....
I think I will go see them... and take them some really anoying squeeky toys (for the trip), and some treats.
BTW, my "Babies" are the 4-legged variety.... We don't have human kids... just the puppies. (One of whom was a wedding present... she was born the day we married).
I'm sad.... it doesn't seem fair, but at the same time, I know I can't keep them (no room). All of my babies were named after my vices.... Cuervo (our gift), Cocoa (the one we lost right after my last miscarriage), and our newest baby... Casino.
I've got to quit crying and get back to work...
Thanks again,
B
Butterfly
besides having a daughter, I have a 4 legged son too! so I know the feeling as well.. I don`t know what I`d do if the ex decided to take the little guy.. but that ain`t/won`t happen any way, (it would only put a damper on his cheaing life!)
I`m sorry again.. I didn`t mean to up set you even more.. and I am still sending you even more {{HUGS}}.. this is all hard enough, then to now have to add wood to the fire..
hope after they *all* leave, things will calm down for you a bit..!
AV

Butterfly - I'm so sorry. I know you'll miss those fuzzy babies. I still miss my dog who died 6 years ago. My two human children and my two feline ones are wonderful but she was my first baby. Fond memories.
But, I have a funny story. I, obviously, threw x out of the bedroom when I found out he was filing for d. He started sleeping in den w/ the dog. I'd been sleeping with this man for mumble/mumble/mumble years and was eager to spend the rest of my life so doing. Six weeks after x started sleeping in her room, the dog died fairly suddenly. Sick a week or so and really sick only 2 days. She preferred death to sleeping with him?

Well, they're gone. Mixed emotions today... I'm so HAPPY that X is gone!!!! I'm so SAD that my babies had to go too.
I spent about an hour last night sitting outside X's yard playing with and saying goodbye to my girls... We played, they gave me lots of kisses, I cried a little... got more kisses.
I did buy them some new toys for the trip... they are really cute, but the added bonus is they have the most anoying squeeky sound!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I'm sooooo bbbaaaaadddddd!!
I ran into X after I left his house (he wasn't there). I guess the new twinky was there the whole time I was outside. He lied about it, but what's new.
I'm gonna miss my babies, but I'm ok today... I know they won't forget me, and they will be Ok.
Cinderella,
Thanks for the laugh... I'm sorry about your baby. I know it's hard to lose one, and now all three.
I just keep thinking that Casino (my youngest baby) likes to nip at people... so maybe she'll bite the newest twinky! I feel so bad for you! I love my dogs almost as much as my kids and when H left I made sure the dogs and the kids remained with me? Why did he get the dogs? I'm sure they will miss you alot. My oldest pup really misses my H. He is so excited when he sees him but I just can't let him go. He is happy here with us and I can't let him go through any more stress.
Hugs!
Jill
