Tuesday was crazy at work. Wednesday I don't work and today has been crazy at work. No computer at home. So I'm out of touch a lot. I'm well. A little bummed but ok.
You know, we're healthy and have a roof over our heads and food on the table. No one brought home a stray animal, the cats have had no kittens and no one has any broken bones. No mother-in-law is threatening to move in and I'm not pregnant. Things could definitely be worse. Doesn't help though that guy I'm dating is having problems with the relationship. He's not ready for committment and maybe the fact that we've been dating better than 5 months so that may enter in. I'm not pressuring him about that. The rest is an issue with sex. Seems He's overburdened with guilt. Must be easier not to see me than it is to keep his pants zipped. So, I'm bummed.

{{{{Cinderella}}}}
I think that there's a red flag somewhere when he can't see you without getting undressed. I've been there, done that, it doesn't work in the long run. If I remember correctly, its your first serious relationship since your XH. The first one has to be a practice one, otherwise, you will be just settling for the first guy that you meet. You're better than that.
Some guys are like that, you didn't sound too high on him anyway, or you weren't convinced. So keep looking, and there will be someone, you just don't necessarily know where he will come from. RWD got discouraged also after his first date, but practice, practice, practice will find the right guy. And as far as monogamous, well, don't get too serious until you are sure its the right guy, or it feels really right, BEFORE THE SEX!
Just don't give up on the martians, as difficult as we may be, we are still better than the creatures on the other planets.
BTW, the story about your dog dying after sleeping with your XH is wild! maybe there is some sort of evil spell around him! I'm surprised your still alive!
don't give up!
tom
Everybody's been so sweet.
Here's the way I see it. We were each other's rebound affairs. He wasn't ready and I needed something to boost my self esteem. He's nice looking, intelligent, and a lot of fun. Has much better taste than my x. But, he'd just gotten his divorce so this was more than he could handle. And he feels terribly guilty about some of the stuff - me, well, yeah, I feel guilty but not like he does.
Unfortunately, the biggest draw backs to him that I see, and call me calloused and cynical if you wish, are that he made it sound like he was going through a long-term financial lean time. And he was too politically conservative. Don't think he could handle the fact that I wasn't going to vote for his candidate and he is a one issue voter (Myopic in my opinion.)
Don't NEED this man. He's just good company. Now who do I take to the symphony?
(I paid for the symphony. He paid for dinner.) Got tickets for the 17th of this month. Need to get busy. But I can trade them in for another performance.

See Cinderella!
See her mouth drop open!
See her grin!
Y'all don't hold your breath now. This calls for some more private e-mail. After all, Bill and I have discussed ash hauling. And I have to flirt with Jayhawk. And, as a princess, I do have my royal reputation to maintain.

No, no, no! I wasn't going to call in a group of women on this. I was going to check my personal calendar. Do this possible meeting arrangement out of way of all the prying eyes. Or do I have to do this in public.
Now, I have given you my oath that I am not, repeat, not planning an orgy for the convention. In fact, I've got to get my "'NO' apparatus" repaired. You know about these things. You use it on dates when s/he (depending on your sex) touches you or suggests something and the word'NO' pops out of your mouth. It's something your better judgements operates. I'm not sure it's a big turn off though because you have to use it pretty often.

Whew, i felt a lynching was just around the corner. I was just following Butterfly's lead in getting out and meeting new people, and especially MB's since they are really quite special people.
Jane-Elise, NO answer is expected until sometime in February. Heck, you may find mr Right on matchmaker between NOw and then, and three's a crowd! And if your NO apparatus is NOt working, NO problem! this is a get out and meet someone nice trip, visit someone far away in a fairy tale sort of way! Your NO apparatus will NOt be needed
I will be unemployed then, and a trip sounds like a good idea! If i don't go to Nashville, heck, I could visit Colorado to go spring skiing! The D should be either final or waiting for finality by then! I could torture the FaithfulWife if she needed some more!
tom

[This message has been edited by WhenIfindthetime (edited November 03, 2000).]
