Being the front-line person on the telephones at a church brings predictable tasks. But we do have one of the prettiest auditoriums/sanctuaries in a city full of churches - The Buckle of the Bible Belt. At the intersection where our building is, there are two churches and a synogogue. Anyway, I can not tell you how often people call and want information about having a wedding here. (It's at least $850 for one day.) Then you have these sweet little young things come in to meet the florists, etc. and I just want to tell them they better think about this a little more before the sign those papers.

Cinderella,
Boy, Do I KNOW the feeling! Me and W play a lot of wedding receptions and sometimes I feel like setting the banjo down and giving the newlyweds a good talkin to. Alas....that ain't what they're paying us for, LOL. But I cant help thinking that probably half of the young couples I see won't make it. Real sad......
Cya!
Bill
