Well... H started to move last night. What a kick in the teeth!! We were talking about the election, etc... Then he jumps up (almost literally) and starts gathering clothes and such. Well.... needless to say I kinda reacted badly. It really hurt to watch him start packing...SOOOO I proceded to start unloading all of his "stuff". He got upset then mad...I said "hell, if your going to start I will help you, What are you so mad about?" << In a rather facecious manner<<< Anyway, I finally just said "to heck with it" and left... went to a friends for awhile...
Anyway, that was last night, when he finally came home (was gone for about 5 hours with 1 SMALL load of stuff) we did sit down and talk and work things out a little.
Funny, today I am packing his stuff up (I want to make sure it is ALL gone so I dont have to face it next week when I come back from a business trip). I have some peace... Thought that this would be really hard, but instead I am looking at the positive. My house can be organized again!!!! No more dealing with 16YO crap laying all around or having to clean up after her. My stuff will quit getting lost. I have SPACE!!! I am still very sad about the whole situation, but think that I am starting to recover.
I finally told my grandmother (who lives with us 94YO >> and in incredible shape) this morning. That was hard. She was very disappointed, but I figured it was time... I even did it without crying!!!
I guess what I am really feeling right now is "detatched" very detached.
Geez, again so much going through my head right now again, this post probably makes 0 sense.
Anyway, this week he is working midnight shift all week... So this really is the beginning of the end for me. Next Friday when I come home will be so hard. Empty house.. I had always had something to look forward to when I came home - Him. I can't imagine what it is going to be like to walk back into our house after been going a week to "nothing". He wants to pick me up from the airport next Friday. I have a lot of mixed emotions about that. Do I want to be "dropped off" by my husband who is going to go to his "new house" and just leave? Can I face this alone and keep my sanity? Who knows.
Next issue... we have started but not finished discussing finances... Even being fair and splitting bills, etc... MY SITUATION SUCKS!!! I am going to be left with about 400 a month to buy groceries, gas, etc for two people!! H says he will help me out but his situation is just as grimm....
Anyway... just felt the need to vent!

I know this is painful. ((((((((((HUG))))))))))
Unfortunately, that's the best I can do. We're here and we care. But today I just have no pearls of wisdom.
I just don't know what comes over people. Goodness, all the threads are so full of serious stuff today. What's the stage of the moon. Is that why the stbxs and xs are so nuts this week?

{{{{{{{{{{blindsided123}}}}}}}}}}
Go see a lawyer. You have been abandoned.
I know EXACTLY how this feels, and it does suck. Try to remain civil and logical about this, but by all means do everything you can to protect yourself.

------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain and makes the sun come out again

Thanks cOOker and Cinderella...
Not really ready to see an attorney yet. I really do trust him (maybe I shouldn't but he has always been fair). No kids, house is irrelevant (it's mine only) and nothing to fight for. Most of the bills are actually mine anyway (before marriage). The biggest thing that will kill me financially is the mortgage... Rather high. The rest I can just be thankful that he cares enough to pay off.
Had a fairly emotional day. Big roller coaster. Doing alright for now, but who knows what the next minute will bring??? When we talked later last night I told him how him packing clothes like that made me feel and he did say that he would be more sensitive. As for me packing today, just felt like I had to do it. Part of the closure thing I guess.
Gosh I feel like all I do and moan and groan sometimes on here. I read all the other posts and see how bad you guys have it and feel kind of silly venting sometimes. I realize that I really am one of the lucky ones. I am not being abused, no kids to fight over, being fair with money. I feel so badly for those of you out there who have problems so much more complicated than my own.
I really just want to say thanks to all of you that have put up with my long rambling posts and offered advice and sympathy!!
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
