Well, x is in Tampa this weekend and is to get married to om. I guess his family is down there as I overheard x talking to s saying everybody in Tampa can't wait to meet the kids. S asked who and x said om's brother and his family.
I am doing okay, so far. I really don't care anymore about her. While I do still feel a void in my life, it isn't her that can fill it. She has killed that.
I will keep busy this weekend, with doing the Christmas decorations with the kids on Sat and my s's 10th birthday party on Sun. So I will be busy.
I am taking my own advice and am hanging in!!!!
Bob
This also my 10 month divorce aniversary today.
[This message has been edited by RWD (edited December 01, 2000).]

Bob - I went through the same thing 2 months ago. At least I know he didn't trade me in for a trophy wife. I have met her and she is uggg-leee. Family and friends all have what I think of as "WhiteTrash" names. That's ok. It's his choice.
Take care of yourself. Do fun things this weekend and don't dwell on it. If she really is the person you describe, you don't need her and are better off this way, more than likely.
That doesn't mean you have to like the ramifications of her choices and the effects those choices have on you and your children.
It is, however, pretty nice to get to reorder your life and build something new.
Do the Christmas decorations this weekend. Anything to stay busy. Answer your children's questions and do your usual good dad stuff. Let them know you love them and are always there for them.
((((((((BOB))))))))
Yes, try to stay busy this weekend. Have the best party for your son...
I have often wondered if my X will marry this new OW...he threatened me with it once.
I do not know what I will do or think if he does.
I do know this. I still love the man I married. But he is gone. The person that he is now..I would not have fallen in love with. He is not worth my time. I could not love someone that lies, cheats, drinks... and who know what else...
I derserve someone better and SO do you!
I do miss being married...to someone that loves me...but I DO not miss being married to the man that lied to me...blamed me for everthing..I could go on...
Time heals...or so I hope.
You are a wonderful person and father...you should be proud.

Bob,
I will be going through what you are going through this weekend in less than a month (I think). Only difference is that my ex is marrying his OW on our 2 WEEK divorce anniversary. His fiancee is catholic and will not live with him until they are married. They live in two different states (he is in Colorado and she is in California) so the commuting is killing him financially which explains why he is in such a hurry to get married. Let me know how the weekend goes - I hope you survive the weekend emotionally intact. Life does get better!
I can only say to try to keep your mind off of things. And that you will be in my prayers and thoughts... How bout' a hug too!
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{BOB}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
------------------
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...Courage to change the things I can...And the wisdom to know the difference.
lady_divine77@yahoo.com
