My son asked his dad if he could take him to
the dollar store so he could get something..h asked him if he had money..son said yes..
he asked if the his sisters had money..son told him one did..one did not..so dad told him...NO, he couldn't take them unless they All had a dollar...He couldn't give the one
who didn't have a dollar a dollar so she could get something too...I gave her the dollar..and THEN HE said he'd take them...grrrrrrr....the thing is..he came over the next night..and gave son and other daughter money for pizza at school..and money
for the bookfair at school...
I guess the reason this burns me up so badly is because I can see how this hurts her..she's not his biologically..BUT he adopted her..the other two are his..and she see's his doing this as he treats her different because she's not his natural daughter..and it hurts her..he's done this alot over the years..but he says he doesn't..
I've seen it..she's lived it..and others have seen it as well..It just really pissed me off though..He couldn't give her a friggin dollar so she could get something...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
what a selfish...never mind...

You have every right to be angry....
I'd be livid. My kids mean the world to me and if anyone were to treat them any less that what they deserve, it would absolutely piss me off!!
I wander if he realizes? He has to. I just don't understand. I feel so sorry for her right now, I know how her litle heart may feel.
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{thorned roses' daughter}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

------------------
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...Courage to change the things I can...And the wisdom to know the difference.
lady_divine77@yahoo.com

I hope I never, ever turn into that kind of a person. That is really sad & makes me ashamed to be in the same species with a guy like that. That kind of behavior is decidedly un-manlike and you have every reason to be angry.
------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain and makes the sun come out again

Jamie-lee, he doesn't see it..he thinks because he tells her he loves her that it's okay...He doesn't understand that sometimes..our actions (or lack of) speak much louder than our words..especially when the actions don't match the words at all...

c00ker..I don't see you being that way...
and I too pray you never become that way..

I did ask him about it last night..he started getting mad at me and cussing..and
trying to make it about something else..and trying to make me feel guilty about the decisions I've had to make for myself recently..and he got mad that I wouldn't play into the guilt..and get mad back..and I didn't responde the way I always have and take on the new conversation..and that made him even angrier..I guess it didn't help him
being drunk...
but he said..I did take them to the store..
I said..yes, you did..but only after they ALL had the money..you could have just said..okay..and then given her the money..instead of telling your son "No, because everyone doesn't have money" he just doesn't get it..and at his age..I doubt that he ever will...he now thinks its a matter of "buying" his kids..
