Here is a post from me and a friend ... i am also in ministry and we were discussing Princess's situation.<br> ME- this poor woman...people got on her case and said YOU are to be a role model... <br> ME - here is how i feel & what i think <br> ME- ready? <br> ME - [ if people "like us" are to be role models, then tell me this, why is it that we spend our lives HELPING, CARING AND LOVING YOU, THE PEOPLE, LEAVING OUR KIDS TO GO TO YOUR SICK BED, TO YOUR KIDS RECITALS, TO YOUR FAMILIES BIRTHDAYS ETC....YET, WHEN CHURCH IS NOT AS YOU FEEL IT SHOULD BE, YOU LEAVE, YOU GOSSIP, YOU HURT US, YOU FORGET US! IS THAT WHAT WE MODELED WHEN WE CARED AND LOVED YOU????????] <br> ME-they are TAKERS, not givers <br> ME - they JUDGE not LOVE <br>(my view is that the "church people" want role models so they can shift blame, and responsibility. I realize I am generalizing at this point. I know many wonderful godly people however, very few that truly love as JESUS loved.) Thank you for letting me vent a little. I also need to point out, my conversation above, was BEFORE i read all of the posts, I WANT TO HAVE A CHURCH WITH ALL OF YOU IN IT!!!! YOU ARE LOVING AND SO VERY SUPPORTIVE! What a blessing.
