....about the weather. Which I can do absolutely nothing about. But my heat pump on my house has gone out. It's about 55 degrees in my house. Staying at my mother's house. God bless her. What would I do without her. She's been my lifesaver several times in the last 5 years.
My sister's husband is working on my heat pump for less than the cost of parts. What a gift he has been to the family! So, it will get fixed maybe sometime this week - if the weather will cooperate. They live in a hilly area 25 miles from me. And of course you don't need to work on these things when it's raining or snowing. And that's about all it's done here for a week or more. Since the thing went out. Well, at least we had heat over the weekend. But now we don't.
It's really hard for me to get into a christmas mood when I don't have my christmas videos or cds or my tree or my kitchen or my cats or my anything except a change or two of clothes.
I'm just not a happy camper.
Please, dear God, send warmer, clear weather and a small repair job. Let's have less than $100 left to get the thing up and working for another year or two. Please.
Thanks, everyone for listening to me whine. I try not to do this very often. Stupid x could have worked on this thing but no, he's a ^%$)((*^$%^$&^(&^(&^^^%^%^((%%)*^$$##&)^%$)@!?{|}^$@*&$^(% jerk!

I'm sorry cinderella. What a lousy time for the heat pump to go. At least now I don't feel so bad about my insurance rates going through the roof since my STBX renewed the policy for her car only.
I hope you can get it fixed before Christmas, so you can have Christmas in your own place. I have a big wood stove, but I'm too far away.
Sending warm thoughts & HVAC prayers your way.
Take care...
------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain and makes the sun come out again
[This message has been edited by c00ker (edited December 19, 2000).]

Hey Cinderella,
My Dad was just told he needed open heart surgery this Thursday for blocked arteries...makes my pathetic soap opera life seem kind of less dramatic in the face of life and death health problems.
Perspective...that's what we all need through the holidays...perspective.
Keep smiling... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
------------------
---------
To err is human, to forgive divine.

Last night I stopped by the house. BIL (God bless this man) was still there. The temperature inside was up from 44 to 55. The frozen pipes were thawed and not burst. The temperature of the air coming out the vents was 80 degrees. Should be warm in there this evening.
BIL was taking parts out of the housing and into the supply house. The man who owned the supply house asked "What kind of b^$#^*& $#!# is this?" X had done all the work on it in the past. Anyway, now it sort of looks like the schematics inside.
I'm eager to go home and find heat. It snowed again last night. But today the roads are clear and the temperature is supposed to hit 34.
I know it's all in the perspective but March would have been so much better than Christmas.

My Fair Maiden,
'tis not nice to complain about a balmy 34 degrees while your handsome prince must endure wind chills of magnificent proportions. The wc's have been between -30 and -40 off and on for a few days while our high temperatures have been around 6 degrees. But I can't complain too much as my furnace has not failed me.
I hoping for you and your heat pump. And yes BIL's are a great thing. I know this because I am one!
Fair Prince - thou hast been scarce around this kingdom of late. I hope thou hast been well.
Be good to those people in your family. Everyone needs each other, you know. Even those in this "family".
I'm so sorry about your weather. Nights have been around 10 degrees here lately. Weather's really not bad in Nashville. Humid in the summer, though. And if you don't like the weather here, all you have to do is wait till tomorrow and it'll change. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
