Judge will sign papers tomorrow yet after some 7 months of this I don't seem to have given up. I continue to pray for my ex and hope that some how this nightmare will come to an end!

Pray for yourself, for good things to come into your life, and for freedom from anger and the pain of separation.
The nightmare will end only when you let it.

((((((((((HIO))))))))))
You'll be in my prayers for a while. It will be 2 years tomorrow or Thursday since the judge signed my papers. It's not easy, I know. I, too, pray that a happier resolution will come about. You know, I thought all this would kill me. But it didn't.
I recently ended my first post-divorce relationship. Brings a bit of sadness but - hey, one less person to buy a gift for, and at this point that matters.
Anyway, I was talking with a co-worker, a minister whose son married a few weeks ago and this is the son whose first wife announced after 4 months that she had made a mistake, and he asked if I was still seeing this man. (Do you follow that?) Anyway, he said something about it's better to be in no relationship than to be in a bad one. And I do so agree. But it takes a while to get there.
May peace of mind and peace in your heart be yours now and in the future.
((((((((((((HIO))))))))))

HIO, i know how you feel, i got D yesterday and judge signed my papers too. as i sat there waiting to be called i kept praying for something to stop it.....but i guess god has his reasons and it happened anyway. i know i filed and i had the power to stop it but i didn't.....why i guess cause i'm scared he didn't really change and after being lied to before on many occassions it'll just take time for him to prove this time its for real. i still do love him and i guess i always will. i'll pray for you and your x.
