I just began seeing a counselor. He is a doctor (no MA's for me anymore). He specializes in psychotherapy and clincal hypnosis. He is starting something with me called Thought Field Therapy. It has to do with misplaced energy fields throughout your body. It fuses what seems like Eastern medicine (accupressure and such) with clinical psychology. A very close friend saw him a few years ago for a severe anxiety/jealousy phobia. He cured her using mainly hypnosis. Not helped--CURED. Anyone ever heard of this before?

I have heard of it and read about it, it is kind of on the edge but if it works that is great. And by the way being a Doctor has nothing what so ever to do with what works. I know MA who do much better work than any doc!<P>It is the individual not the degree!

Ask him if he is practicing Alexander Lowen's approach. IT sounds like he is -- and this is very powerful!<P>You can get and read his books, they are excellent!
