Hi, what a great idea, I always wondered about some of those names!
My original posts and name was lonelymom. That was how I felt the day my ex left on xmas. I don't remember how long I used it for, but sometime last year, I realized, I wasn't lonely and switched my name . Decided to use my real name Dana, because I had been signing it on all my other threads for so long anyhow.
THere are still some people who don't realize that those names were the same person!
I'd love to change it again, to something meaningful, but then I lose my stats again!
Hugs, Dana
My first initial, repeated.
I, too, was in much pain when I found this site. By the time I was ready to post for the first time I was exhausted from all the reading I was doing here and my thoughts about how to apply the concepts to my failing marriage. The few names I thought would best represent me were already registered, and I did not have the stamina to continue to look for creative alternatives.
Peace, LLL

My Bible fell open to this passage and I started reading and relating to it just before registering on this website.

Well...
The Mynah bird can be taught to speak. Once it learns a few words...those few words seem to be all it says. Sounds a little like it could be auditory torture, huh?
I'm a bit like that. Really have to work at shutting up and letting others have their say. So, I chose the name to remind myself to *listen*... then I'll go ahead and yammer like there's no tomorrow, lol. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
~~Mynabird aka Jeri Lynn

When I first started coming to MB I had just found out about H affair. I just kept saying to myself, " Am I crazy or what for even attempting to keep this marriage together" That is how I got my name. I plan on changing it soon to Jillybean.
Jill

I had been told time after time that I had the "patience of a saint". Actually, "glutton for punishment" would've been closer to the mark.

I registered after I had read, what felt like, all the pages possibly incorporated in this web-site. I had realized all the Love Buster's that I had been committing and decided that day that there had to be a "NewMe".
Everytime I log in, it reminds me of my task at hand... self-improvemnt to the end!!!!!

CJ - You go girl........ Keridwen is a play on my name and also the name of a Celtic Goddess. My name is Keri and the Goddess of life, death and rebirth is Cerridwen. So I just combined the two. I feel like my old life is dead and my new life is in the process of being reborn. So I thought the name was quite appropriate. Actually I use it for all the sites I register with. I just add a "7" if Keridwen is already taken.
------------------
Blessed be.
****************
Keridwen
Keridwen_7@yahoo.com

Soon2b_alone...kind of self-explanatory...planning on changing it to "YepI'm_alone" once things are final. Wish I could be as profound as sisyphus...is there a Greek character who continually thumped her head against an immoveable brick wall? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
Lisa

out of the fog ---
For most of our marriage I had been Depressed.....and that's what my stbx is blaming for the breakup.
I had just started a new medication which has finally cleared the 'fog' of depression when I discovered this website and forum. Little did I know that I'd have at least one layer of fog still to go through. But just getting out of the depression was incredible for me. It's made a tremendous difference.
Too bad the H never bothered to take the time to realize what he's leaving behind. I still love him, but I don't love his friends and I don't love the way he treats me.
~Amy
