Will my first weekend as a divorced person was restfull. I slept three straight nights! Yahoo!!!!! I washed clothes, rode scooters with my boys! Scooters go fast down hill and us old folks will win races with 5 and 9 year olds!<P>Dinner alone and with family friends are enjoyable! I can cook big meals for three people and they are good because my sons said they are good!<P>I am a compotent individual eventhough I don't have a woman to direct me!<P>Don't get me wrong it would be wonderful to have a woman around who wants my company but right now if I never have one that is ok!<P>Life after divorce does exist!

Good for you and welcome to the newly divorced club. Yes, not being married does have its perks! I too look around at my house and think to myself, I am doing this alone and I'm ok. Not that sometimes I don't get lonely I do and sometimes I find myself feeling sorry for myselfbut most of the time I'm ok. I am so proud of you! First, I'm glad to hear that you slept, because sleeping can make all the difference. Second, I'm glad you played, because playing can make it all bearable. HIO,<P>This was also my first weekend as a "divorced person". I had a great one, too. Went out with friends Saturday night & laid on the couch watching old movies on Sunday. Quite enjoyable!<P>I'm looking forward to my new life ... and new name (took maiden name back). That will definately take some getting used to!<P>Best to you!

Thanks for the support I appreciate it greatly! Still somewhat of a roller coaster though work up this morning really lonely. Had dinner with my 19 year old last night and that went well!<P>Just want a woman today! Frustrated and thinking about how old I am and how picky I am!<P>Snow lady I am glad it went well for you and to my old friends why must theses ups and downs continue!<P>Just kidding I know the answer, I want desperately to cook dinner for a woman and then kiss, flirt , play around!<P>Sorry just had to say that!

Hi HIO,<P>good for you. I can't remember what I did that first weekend after the court hearing. But my divorce was final on the 7th, and I FORGOT about it.<P>It hit me yesterday (the 9th here). That was such a good feeling. Does this mean that I have moved on.???????<P>My divorce was done in order to give me some closure. He was to-ing and fro-ing, and giving me grief emotionally. It seems to have done just that. And with every day that goes past, I disconnect myself that little bit more from him. And that is such a good feeling.<P>I'm glad you had a nice time. Children make all the difference don't they.? I too have had fun with my kids since all this. This has made me appreciate them even more.<P>Hope you find that lady to cook for.........<P>big hugs<P>Jo<BR>
