I may be off my cracker lately but on the way home from work today I started noticing and thinking about things that are completely wierd, and have no reason, something Arsenio Hall would say is 'Things that make you go Hummmmmmm'
Like I noticed and was thinking about these items this afternoon.:
1. How come most of the songs on the radio have a special meaning?
2. Would the songs have the same meaning if you played them backwards?
3. Why don't you see any dead pigeons on the side of the road? Starlings are everywhere..
4. Man that's a good song with a leric like. 'You never get what you want, You almost never get what you need, But you always get what you deserve.? I thought this was a good one for today.
5. Why don't they give drivers lic. tests annually to people over 80 Yrs. old?
6. My new business laptop will play DVD's. I wonder if I could watch them on long plane flights and make the navigation system on the plane take me to Hawahii(sp?), or to italy or something?
7. Is excellant spelled with an a or an e?
8. Why did my kid wash about half of the rear quater panel on my new (dirty) truck with a window spuegy while getting gas at the Exxon station?
9. Will Starbucks coffee cups piling up in my back seat make good road side assistance makers?
Litte stuff... I wondor if this is some kind of mental protection mechanism. Mentally kinda turned off.. I'm aware I'm doing it, when I doing it. And I kinda like it.. this is wierd..
We should write all the wierd stuff down in one place and send it to Readers Digest with the topic:'Wierd things people think under stress" Make some money for a get together..
Anybody else?

I am pretty sure they make blue jello now. . .and blue applesauce for the kiddies (new territory in marketing--why do they sink to these lows just to sell something?)
My question: Do telemarkers ever figure they are going to sell something? Do they?

eliza52,
Well there are blue M&M's now, so Mr. Carlin is going to have to come up with a new color isn't he?
And here I thought I was the only person who really wondered what the world would look like through another person's eyes....
Why is it that we park on driveways and drive on parkways?

Why are the keypads on phones and remote controls in different order than the keypads on computer keyboards and calculators?
Why is the car going slowly in front of you almost always a K-car or a Cavalier?
