Well, first, stbx had a mammogram on Tuesday for the lump she (he?) found. Results in 7-10 days. I don't think she was going to tell me. I expressed my concern, and asked her to let me know the results. Also asked her to call me if she needed anything.<P>She is pretty scared. She is a former exotic dancer and has always considered that part of her her most attractive feature. I'm guessing that this really goes to the core of her perception of herself.<P>So if you all could spare a prayer or two, send one up to San Pedro, Ca, c/o Larri.<P>Been raining like crazy, or what passes for crazy here in Cal. Took me six hours to do the round trip drive to drop our son off last night.<P>I get the mail, and there is a letter from my lawyer, making veiled threats to drop me unless I bring my account current. I have paid him at least $6,000 and owe him another $2,500 with at least another 2 court appearances to go. This for something that he told me would cost about $3,000. But due to the stbx and her obstructionist lawyer, we have had five court appearances so far, at around $1,500 a pop for each of us. What really irritates me about the situation is that stbx has not paid her lawyer a dime of his hourly fees (at least the same as mine) and her lawyer goes on as if nothing has happened. I have not gotten any child support since August, and my lawyer keeps telling me that we have to wait until the hearing. I have taken on a paper route, in addition to my regular job, just to try to keep my obligations current. Wouldn't think a guy with a Master's would have to do that.<P>I'll stop now.
