and she called to let me know. Got my partner and told her first.
I called her and she told me. She has more tests scheduled for Feb. 21. Asked her if there was anything that I could do for her. "Nope, not a thing."
Then she goes on to tell me that her car broke down and it will cost over $1K to fix it, so that won't be happening any time soon.
And to top it all off, her lawyer quit today because she has not paid him since she hired him.
The old me, even as late as 3 months or so ago, would have jumped into protector mode and tried to help her as much as I could. The new me could only say "I'm sorry."
So it looks as if things are not going so well for her. I truly am sorry for her, but have come to the realization that there is nothing I can do about it. And that makes me sad.
I guess this may be the make or break for her and OM. Neither one of them have had much stick-toitiveness in the past. Maybe they can learn something from this.
So, again, for those of you that pray, send one up to San Pedro, CA, c/o Larri.
Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that's happening for her. I hope "abnormal" turns out to be "caught at the earliest, best-outcome-producing moment."
