Well, my W and I have been married now for almost 4 years. We meet in college during the summer and dated 4 years before marrying. Right after we were married we got pregnant and now have a beautiful, wonderful 3 year old daughter. That is the quick background, now the bad stuff...
We have been plagued with "bad luck" and problems. We have been on a roller coaster ride for the longest time. We have our good/happy times and then we are fighting/mad. I am the first to admit that I am not responsible and have made bad choices.
We have had debt problems, car wrecks, depression (mother died, work slacked, etc), health problems, etc Just when I think I can "change or improve myself", something bad happens and I regress. My W has had it because I cannot change.
I have done the "save the marriage debate" with her numerous times. It is getting to the point where the BIG D seems like a good thing.
I have babbled... what do I do now... I love her and she "loves" me...
Thanks
Sean

Burger King's motto is "The Harder You Work, the Luckier You Get!"
Nothing impresses like results.
But if you've had all this stuff going on, plus her harping on you, it may be that you have had one or more depressive episodes (the real clinical kind you're supposed to get treatment for), and perhaps are even in one now. Women sense that the way dogs smell fear--and respond in just about the same way.
Go to a site on the web where there is a depression self-test/inventory. Find out if there is anything going on with you. If there is, Do Not Pass GO!--head straight for the doctor.
Who thinks the BIG D is a good thing? Her or you? No matter. It isn't. But if it's her, then your begging and pleading won't work.
I can think of just about a million things to try, but one good one might be phone counseling with the Harleys. Or find someone local. Or do a weekend marital workshop. Or a "controlled separation". Or Debtors' Anonymous. Or ... or ...
