Hi everyone,
There are so many new people here. I thought maybe that we should start a thread again that gives a brief discription of our individual situations and how we are doing. Kinda like a news letter so to speak. Many of the profiles have nothing or out dated information.
So here's mine...
Married 15 1/2 years...second marriage for me first for him.
Husband is the betrayer.
Much was wrong with our marriage and I accept full responsibility for my part. Husband really doesn't. Feels that I drove him to the affair.
We are 6 months post discovery. I recieved an anonymous phone call from a fellow co-worker.
Withdrawal has been hell on both of us. I have cried more than I have in my whole life I think.
We are on our way to recovery though and seem to be headed in a positive direction on this journey.
The good news is if we make it through this we will be closer than ever before.
Still having a problem with the connection thing. Husband wants the butterflies and all the stuff that comes with a new falling in love. I'd like it too but, not sure that anyone but God or a long seperation can accomplish that.
This has helped me to get closer to God and been a huge wake up call for me. I was also healed of many physical and emotional problems. So praise the Lord. Some day maybe I will be thankful for this OW and forgive and love her. (From a far)
Everyone have the best day you can. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] You are in my prayers.

------------------
God bless you and all of us.
Samantha
Sammy,
Married---- 30 years, 3 months
Recovery---- 19 months
I'll join in, but, I'm tring to get past the memories of my H's bad brain period. Some things I have even forgotten or just have totally decided to put them out of my mind. I think my main reason for being on this board is to give others hope, strength, and insight to this very hard time. It was very hard for me, and still is at times, I have learned so much, and still am. A deeper love, a stronger marriage. I am learning to relax, have less tension, don't apply things now to the past. OK, I'll get off my SOAP, I know you didn't have this in mind when you opened up this thread ! That's just where I'M at right now. Dear Almost Happy,
I think everything you said is great and I am so glad you said it.
It does give us all hope and helps immensely. So a big {{HUG}} to you.
I can't wait to be where you are at and also to feel that I am genuinely helping others here.
I hate the fact that I have the qualifications to belong to this club...MB-infidelity...but, am so grateful there are so many wonderful people here like you to support us all.

------------------
God bless you and all of us.
Samantha
Sammy,
Yes, YOU will be here, and alot of the others will be too, People some times don't know the Happy endings stories because those people just get well and go away, don't come back because they want to forget totally. Except for Success Story (why me) I brought it back up for you, her post was GREAT! It's like breaking your Leg (I would op that to this) but, you break it, feel the pain, go through the healing, get back to being normal, they say even a broken bone is stronger in that place when it heals, BUT, you always remember, and you want to tell people, Don't jump off that bridge again, and make it worse, go around, it may take a little while, but worth it not to hurt yourself again. So, keep moving forward, go around, it is worth it.
