Partners. I couldn't get a break if I stumbled over it.
If you remember my post about signs.?. Were everytime I try to move somewhere positive with my STBXW something happens, negatively.
Mam, Oh Man this is a kicker.
So Friday nite I have the papers with me as the wife, D and I are to go to dinner. after which we were to talk. It didn't happen. I ended up taking the D out and afterward we went to her appt. to pick up D's cloths for my weekend with her. I get there and we had the TALK. Start over, counsuling, etc.,etc., Absolutly no love busters.
She said she would think about it and let me know. The weekend went perfect. very pretty days, not a cloud in the sky all weekend. I take the kid to the zoo and get pictures (my daughter and I). So I figure I should go out and get a CamCorder because if the divorce does continue I will have a lot less time with my kid [censored] I have a travel job and I should have a vidio of her growing up.
Sunday comes. I take my D home and ask the wife what she thinks.. No Answer, I ask for a Thumbs Up/Thumbs down, anything that would tell me what's going on, or a direction. No answer. She said she would call me after the D went to sleep.
On the way home I get into a car accident. I in my big Ford truck tags a cherry red 2000 porche boxter. Pretty little thing. Black leather int. Fireball red ext. He ran a stop sign and I tagged him. The cops say it was his fault. So I'm cool with it. So far.
I called the wife around 9:15Pm to talk to the kid before she goes to bed and before I hang up I ask the wife if she was going to call and she said yes around 10:15 or so.
No phone call.
I CAN'T Get A BREAK..

quote:
Originally posted by AgoodManInTexas:
No phone call.
I CAN'T Get A BREAK..

That's not "yes" and it's not "no". It's "I'm not ready to say yes" and "I'm not ready to say no".
And what it means to you is that you've got to relax and let it go for right now. Because if you try to force an answer, it will likely be the one you don't want.
Attraction, not traction. I know it's tough...

Think about this - this is a big decision. What's your hurry? Will the world end if you don't get the papers aren't given to her tomorrow?
If you keep pressuring her, she may make a decision you don't like just to get you out of her hair.
Keep hassling her and I bet you she says the divorce is on.

Ya know, I think God waited until the 8th day to hand out patience to us men! And by that time it had all run out....
And believe me when I tell you, it isn't just you! I have and continue to, pray for patience everyday. To some people it comes so naturally, but for some reason, we men have such a hard time with it. We always want things done/fixed/over right now.
Be patient - Don't push...
God Bless,
Mike

I understand what you are talking about. I don't want too push either. All I'm looking for is a leaning, a very, very small directional breeze. Something, Anything.. A Head Tilt would work for me.
I have been waiting soooooo long.
My bet is she has something so negative to tell me it will make me run away. Maybe even worse them telling me she had an PA.
