Well,
no lb's, no arguments, no fights, no fisticuffs, no nothing.
it was a lovely nihght.
A few too many bottles of wine on my part, or at least glasses, but it was lovely,
He said he had to go at 7, but left at 8.25. and he then had a 25 min journey home, in order to have a shower before going out with friends. He was supposed to be with them at 7.30pm.!!!!!!
he didn't eat his main meal with me, due to taking so long to put the bbq together. But he had starters and entrees with me. He complimented me on the trouble I had gone to, and said he appreciated it. I then kissed him goodbye, on the cheek, (which he turned into a kiss on the lips) and he left.
Cinderella, do you still think this is strange. I do. This is not the normal behaviour of a divorced man. One who is happy with his life.?????? Well, I would think it is not. But what do I know!!!!!
OMG - I've had so much to drinkl tonight, i can't type staringht.
I'll check in tomorrow mornig, (and cringe)
love and hugs to all
Jop
Yippee, he chose his family over his friends.

Jop (LOL)
I'm glad things went well! But I agree with Mitz.... take it easy on the wine, noting is worse than a wine hangover [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].
B

I've never drunk-typed before!!!!!!!
He called yesterday, and thanked me again for all the trouble I had gone to. It wasn't much really, but of course I didn't say that.
He kept me on the ph. asking questions about the girls, what was I having for dinner etc. I almost got the feeling he wanted an invite over. But been there, and done that before. And his answer was always "no, I can't", so I don't ask anymore.
Anyway, I'm glad I wasn't naughty. It was just two people who happen to have had children together.
Jo
