Wow, haven't had much time to get on this forum other than read a bit, been in spring cleaning mode and just sorting my life out one speck of dirt at a time.
Went in, saw my attorney, had H served cause all I have heard is how he is never going to try to work on it, etc. The kids and I needed to move on, and did... spending time off motocrossing and skiing with a guy who spent lots of wonderful time with them. It made it so apparent how lacking their dad was as a father and a husband.
Anyway... last night I went by to pick up some paperwork. H *finally* is thinking about trying to work on the marriage. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] I told him that I was still willing to work on the marriage; we are looking at a retrouvaille weekend, and counseling. It isn't going to be an easy thing for him to do, but that he is thinking about it is a beginning.
7 and a half months have gone by and there's a long road ahead of us. Thanks to all of you who gave me hope and wisdom.
Lori
