only got a minute.
I've read many of your posts, all with an open mind. I've agreed with some of what you've said, and disagreed with others.
Now, my question.
How in the heck was I supposed to stay married, to someone I loved and believed in, and supported and stood by, when HE didn't want me to. He didn't want me any more. HE chose someone else. HE chose a new path.
I waited, and waited, got my hopes up, and had my hopes dashed.
In the meantime he went from gf to gf. All the while keeping me a little bit dangling, with ambiguous statements and actions, but then TELLING me his heart wasn't in trying to reconcile or fix our marriage.
I;m of the wait for a while before you date group. I have not much interest in a new relationship at the moment. I'm quite happy learning all about what makes me tick, and what makes me happy.
And trying to find that middle happy ground where ex and I can co-exist HAPPILY for the sake of our girls.
I've done things that I wish I hadn't, and said things that I wish I hadn't (to ex) but all the while I wanted my marriage back.
I had no choice but to move on. I haven't completely closed the door to him, but every day, it shuts that little bit more.
His choices, and his actions, have ruled my life for the past 2 years. I just wanted to take my life back.
Just my perspective, on where I sit, from my side of the fence.
And no, I'm not angry or defensive, or jumping up and down, but how did you think that I could make this situation work?
I'd be interested in your input.
have a nice night
Jo
