Hey guys,<P>my holidays got approved yesterday, yaaayyyyyyy......<P>now, to find out when my exam is, and then I can make definite plans with you guys. I'll follow that up on Tuesday.<P>I was thinking that I might take the girls to Disneyland for a couple of days before VA Beach, however, as it's your summer holidays over there, I may scrap that. I don't relish waiting in line for an hour to go on a ride with two whining girls who don't want to wait.....<P>I may just have to visit a friend in Omaha!!!!<P>I also have a friend who is a visiting professor at a state college over there, I just can't remember where!!! Somewhere up near New York I think, at least it's the same side of the country!! Lucky I kept his emails.<P>I have to break the journey somewhere - it would be all right for me to go straight through, but I don't think the girls would handle it. From here, all the flights either go to Hawaii or LA. Maybe LA will be the go, and then a connecting flight to Washington. You guys will have to help me out here with planning, ie, which is the best way from LA etc.<P>Can't wait for this, I'm getting so excited.<P>I only have one **BIG** problem. Who said size 6. OK, it sounds like you guys are really coming out here so I need to work on some schedule shuffling <P>Dawn, the big hard balls are at the other end of the boardwalk But the boardwalk is fininshed and it's not too bad a walk/ride.<P>The best restaurants in the vicinity are The Lighthouse (on the inlet) Watermans & Mahi Ma's. Nothing completely awe inspiring, but I've never gotten food poisoning, so that's something. <P>Lots of v-ball nets at that end. I'll probably be riding my bike down since parking is such a drag. I just need someone to let me stash him in their room while we're out and about.<P>Lazer tag is about 10 minutes away. There's a water park & the Marine Science museum about 5 minutes away which is great for the children (that would be me and Mitzi & Jo's kids ) Yorktown/Jamestown/Colonial Williamsburg are about an hour away, as is Busch Gardens/Water Country USA.<P>Any special requests?
