Good morning all, today is our first meeting to talk since I left almost a month ago. I'm a little anxious but surprisingly not too nervous. Hope all goes well with no major emotional stuff.
I have done some major work on myself this past month. I will tuck a list of my needs into my purse before meeting w/him, if it comes up I will share them. I feel good, but will be glad to get on the other side of this first meeting. Bet someone else had the same feeling some time or another.
Thanks for letting into all your lives over the past month. I really have learned so much from you all.

Hi Lesa,
I just read your post and I have also been separated for a month. I would love to know how your meeting went and how you are doing now.

Our meeting went surprisingly well. We both decided it was best for now to keep our separate apartments and continue to work on ourselves, but to remain a couple.
We spent a really nice afternoon together. Conversations since have been up and down, but we are both committed to improvement and eventual solution that will result in us getting back together. We had planned to get together tonight to celebrate a late Valentine's Day together, but he got called to work, so we will meet for a quick dinner instead. We are keeping a careful distance. I'd be glad to share my experiances Glo, thanks for replying. BTW I have found a lot of info by doing internet searches on Marriage/Family and Couple issues. My favs are Marriage Builders, Michele Weirner-Davis and Smart Marriages.com
all filled w/lots of great encourging info.
Leesa,
Congrats on your meeting with your husband. I posted a message, if you'd like to read about my situation. It's quite similar to yours. My husband and I are living in separate places, but still a couple. It's so hard, I'm the one that wanted it, but when it came down to it, I couldn't do it, he was going to stay, but somethings happend so he went ahead and moved out. I miss him alot, we spend the weekends together, and I don't see him much during the week because I work a second job now. I would do anything to have him move back, home, but I'm trying my best to give him the space and time he needs, in hopes that he and I will live together again one day.
Good luck, and make each moment with your husband precious.
Sassy
