Okay, you all. I've been out of control today. I have GOT to get a rein on these emotions.
I apologize sincerely for the spewing I've done on this board today. I've been trying to dispense advice to help and all I've done is hurt.
I thought I had alot to offer, but ramming it down your throats doesn't accomplish much. I have let my emotions get the best of me.
I want everyone to know that my marriage is flourishing ... it is nothing short of a miracle from God .... and I guess because it's so amazing what He's done that I want everyone to solve their problems the same way H and I did -- because IT WORKED.
But I'm way too passionate about things I believe in .... maybe I need to apologize for that too, I don't know.
Affairs are the most painful thing a marriage can go thru ... and I've never meant to minimize the pain on either side. It's very real ... I know that too well.
Perhaps I better stay away a couple of days and "cool off" .... I never meant to hurt/offend/anger anyone. Please believe me.
[This message has been edited by Maya (edited September 01, 1999).]

Maya, I'm really happy you and your husband have found happiness. Back when you felt nothing for your husband, it helped me to read your posts in order for me to understand his feelings towards me. I'm happy for you that he was a patient man.
You must have had some feelings for him even when you thought you didn't, or you wouldn't have been a member of this forum. Perhaps what's missing from some of these spouses are those inner feelings which may be buried, for instance, by depression. I guess that's why some of us can't "love them through it" per se by staying in the home with them. My plan was to go to plan b. When he agreed to therapy and meds, I saw that as effort on his part, so I will stick with plan A while living apart. I will work to "love him through it" as best I can as long as he continues to work on himself.
There's nothing wrong with being passionate about something you believe in. I wish you and your husband the very best.
Maya,
I think you have GREAT advice to offer others. I wrote to you on the other post because I don't want your advice to be skipped over because of something "extra" you added to your reply.
If you think you need a break, then take it. But there are alot of people here who can benefit from what you have to say! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Maya, your posts give me hope that I, someday, will be in my marriage as you are in yours. Please keep posting!
I find it hard to accept sometimes that others don't think the way I do. It's not just a matter of opinion, but a matter of thought process. Everyone is different, however, and just remember that those who do understand what you are thinking can keep learning from the experiences you share.
TryingAgain

Maya,
See? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif) Sometimes it's good to take a few days off, like I just did. (Or was it even a day? LOL!) But, don't even THINK about leaving for any long length of time after you helped talk me into staying. Remember, I know where you live! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
------------------
Love is meant to heal. Love is meant to renew. Love is meant to oust all fear. Love is meant to harmonize differences. Love is meant to bring us closer to God.

Maya thank you, that was very big of you to extend your hand. Just like my name, I am still learning or wanting to know how to do the same. I guess I also have to learn not to fly off the handle when someone is not on the same sheet of music to something that I feel strongly about. I also apologize for my behavior. I think you and I are going to learn A LOT from each other.

Maya,
It is okay. My passion sometimes gets the better part of me which shows in my posts as well as in person. It is at those times that I need to slow down and chose my words carefully. I don't really apologize for my passion. I apologize for my choice of words because I need to come across humbly. The message is still the same because it is His. It is all in the Bible and we need to allow His light to shine so all can see Him rather than us.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob

Hi Maya,
Ditto what everyone else said....I'll tell you what, I read everything you have to say (didn't always like it in the beginning!) but you have chronicled a successful journey and that has been so helpful and inspiring to me. Only take one or two days off!....Lu

Maya!!!! Hurray for you, you have something to celebrate and aren't we all here for the good as well as the bad and the ugly!!! I know what your feeling, my marriage is at times better than it's ever been (not saying I don't have a problem once in awhile!) But when you have these feelings it helps sometimes that other people know there can be a light at the end of the tunnel! Don't worry about stepping on feet, we ALL do that once in awhile, and I really enjoy the advice you've given me in the past! God Bless You!
------------------
Chick's
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
