A man approached the very beautiful woman in the large supermarket and asked, "You know, I've lost my wife here in the supermarket. Can you talk to me for a couple of minutes?"
"Why?" she asks.
"Because every time I talk to a beautiful woman, my wife appears out of nowhere."
Your daily medicinal giggle, provided by:

CJ
------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

CJ,
Thats the way it happens in real life. I think wives have sort of a built in early warning system. Somehow they know when we are paying too much attention to the sultry wench whose endowments are ummmm, ahhhh, that is to say, doubly manifest.
Hugs and stuff
Bumper

Aha, Bumper!
Despite all of your attempts to ignore it, you ARE starting to learn "How to speak female 101".
See the first men were hunters, so they focus was narrow--they would find the prey and narrow their focus to the prey and only the prey (in this instance, the doubly-endowed wench!). However, the first women were gatherers, so they had to broaden their focus and take in information: what is ripe, what is not, where is it and how can I get that food in my basket. Thus, women developed what SEEMS like a sixth sense to the man who is focused on the only one thing at a time. While all HE can see is the double endowment, she sees all the other food in the store, all the colors and discounts, all the prices AND the drool in the corner of his mouth!
See? It's not intuition. It's just that we notice what you are focusing on! Heehee [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

CJ
------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

OK, I think I get it now. The funny part is that the guy was so ridiculously naive?
No, no, wait a minute. It's the guy's shortsightedness that's funny, right? It's not that he was naive to expect his strategem to work, it's that he wasn't taking into account the consequences when his wife caught up with him!
Ha, ha! I get it! It's so...heh...obvious, really. And very funny! Yes...er...definitely quite clear. Completely. Hard to believe I didn't get it at first. I get it now, of course. Really I do! Ha, ha! See?
DePlume,
I agree. Given overwhelming data, he chose the "logical" solution to a straight forward problem. W would find him in the beautiful woman section. Makes sense to me.
By the way, when was you the last time you had a Vulcan mind meld? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Me? It is been too long I think. About that Vulcan mind meld, JL. Did you mean how long since I performed one, or how long since I had one done to me?
You know, if we had a hot tub party, we could have a mass mind meld.

Wow, Mass in the hot tub. For a former altar boy it's a bit staggering to imagine [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
So, the best place to look for a wife is in the supermarket, huh? First, let's clarify that a Vulcan mind MELD is different from a mind melt (which is sometimes what happens to your mind when you are in a hot tub).
Second, I'm just guessing, but I bet attendance would quadruple at church services that were held in a hot tub.
Third, is it just me, or would the whole concept of "Sunday go to meeting" clothes entirely change if Mass was held in a hot tub? The Easter parade of fashion would actually be the swimsuit edition--right? Once again, I restate that attendance would quadruple--especially male attendance! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Fourth, just for you, cOOker, a great place to meet women is the supermarket; however, I will warn you that excessive hanging out in the melon department would be too obvious. Especially those, firm, ripe melons! (Naughty CJ! Naughty)

CJ
------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

How come it is that I never see suitable looking men in the grocery store? They're either too old, too young, too fat, or too redneck? And I live in the good part of town. Do I need to move further out to the 'burbs?
When do single men go to the grocery store?
