This week My daughter is going to Hilton Head with her grandparents. They are meeting my Dad's SIL and her 2 kids, my uncle died in Feb if you recall.
This is supposed to be Ex's long weekened with Abbey. We have a very good custody agraingment so no big deal...Ex went to Va. to spend the holiday with her Mom.
Last night as we were out to dinner Ex callen my Sis's house in the hopes to speak to Abbey. She finally got hold of us around 9:30. BIL answered the phone, mind you, he has ZERO respect for Ex because A: he had been abandoned by 2 cheating wives and B: has seen this from the start. Abbey was crashed and couldn't speak to her. I get on the phone and the Ex is sobbing!! Of course she says nothing is wrong ect..
I hand up after assuring her my folks will call during the week. BIL has his standard I hate her look on his face and says "if she is so concerned about absences from our daughter, she shouldn't have left. She made the concious decision NOT to be around our daughter 7 day a week."
This is the most confounding part about our Exes that I find. They willingly walk out on the family then cry because of extended absences. DUH HUH is all I can say to her. You ought to have thought this through before your self-centered [censored] started sleeping with a teenager!!!!!
Anyhoo...I thought I'd share that profundity by my BIL...
Happy Easter to all!!
Bill
------------------

May the roads rise to meet you,
May the winds always be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May god hold you
In the hollow of his hand.

Bill,
YEP! YEP! YEP!
He makes an excellent point! When A$$ goes a few months without seeing the boys, he makes it out like it's my fault. EXCUSE ME!! Then he tells the boys to call him when they want to see him. EXCUSE ME, AGAIN!!! Been there, done that! He doesn't have time.
He should have worried about his kids when he was laying around in the bars with The Thing.
Happy Easter!
Mitzi [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

(((((((Bill))))))
Hope you have a good Easter. You sound like your doing well. My ex shows no remorse to this day, except in counseling last week, but I suspect that was a show to make the counselor like him and also to make me feel sad. He succeeded on messing my head up for a few days, but the counselor saw right thru him.
I hope Abbey got a nice visit from the Easter Bunny too.
Hugs, Dana
