A little recap of my "Good Friday".
First thing in the morning, I got a speeding ticket. Ok, I just shrugged it off-no biggy!
Had an early appt. with CPA. That was nothing but bad news and I was reduced to tears. I owe alot, due to STBXH. Went back to work, albiet a short work day, but the day was starting to bring me down. I pulled it together, and my mind was quickly churning to solve the IRS debt. Remember I am an optimist ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Leave work early and thought, hey I'll go get my car serviced and washed (something productive). I'm sitting there getting my car washed, and whose car do I see come around the corner??? Husband's!!!!!!! The beautiful luxury car that is in my name only while I drive around in the old Honda! I went into the building and I see his shoes sticking out (he was getting them shined) I walked up to him- He says HELLO (I read into it as he is thinking-I am so happy right now, Petrie is gone and I can focus on OW, she makes me soooooo happy) I just walked away and waited for my car. He came outside and didn't say a word to me, I got into my car and started to drive off, I looked back and he waived to me.
I started to shake and cry uncontrollably. Drove right to a music store to buys CD's. Music will get me out of this state!
Oh, to be happy again and not be so preoccupied with him and how happy he now is that he isn't with me.
I couldn't have asked for a better Easter Sunday, I was emotional and sad inside, but my family is soooooo awesome and supportive.
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
up down, up down, up down....................

Yup, the lovely rollercoaster...it seems to go on forever. I don't know how things are going with my h and the OW, I do know that my H is in dire straights financially and under a lot of pressure at work. He never seems happy when I hear from him.
The mean side of me hopes things are rotten with the OW but I'm probably wrong.

My lawyer said divorce goes hand in hand with financial distress, money issues and even bankruptcy. When you let your credit get mixed in with your spouse, and buy everything based on two incomes instead of one, then when the one leaves, you are in a mess. I learned that the hard way.
I will never buy anything joint again in my life, trust me!
Sorry to hear about running into the ex. I had the same easter. Family was very supportive (except made me angry while forcing me to eat), but other than that, it was up and down for me too.
Strange enough, today, I feel about 80% better and no major issue has occurred to bring this mood change on that I can find, EXCEPT the holiday is over.
Well, you have a better week Petrie, you deserve it.
Hugs, Dana
Hi Petrie,
I'm so sorry you had to run in to him like that. And in his great car......Couldn't you just smack him!!!
There are no words to make you feel better about this, other than we love you and care about you. And that you will get through it.
I have to see my ex all the time, exchanging children etc, but I haven't run into her yet. It probably wouldn't matter, as I know her. I just hope I can maintain my composure and my dignity.
You're right about family. When you have a loving supportive family, you can get through anything. I always knew that, but now I'm experiencing it. I'm so glad you have a supportive family through all this.
I hope you have a great week, you deserve it. And remember, when all this is done, and you're so happy and contented, you will look back at this time and realise it for what it is. A growth phase, a learning phase. And anything that we learn from, is a good thing.
hugs to you
Jo
