cinderella Member C Joined: May 2000 Posts: 15,150 Kingdom of Caerlon	Something happened to me while I wasn't looking. <P>At my daughter's first softball game, the coach's wife, and mother of one of daughter's best friends, showed me a little about how she keeps statistics for the games. So at the third game, guess who had to be the statistician?<P>Son's soccer coach put out request for parents to volunteer to help with practices. So, guess who starts that as of today? <P>What happened? I guess I've forgotten that stuff about growing up. Most of the people my age have teenagers and I'm going to be running around with the 8 and under soccer boys. <P>Goody for me. Couldn't do the sit on the side lines things very well.

Then they might find more for me to do. <P>But softball, I'm not that coordinated. I'll just work on this stat-keeping stuff. I can't throw. I can't hit. I can't keep up with where that ball is going. I'd be worse than useless.<P>Tonight I have to finish packing the Girl Scout's camping stuff and find and launder the soccer uniform. I want you to know there is too much to do. I no longer have time to be depressed.
