This is pretty awkward, but after being
divorced for over six years, it is still
very hard to meet a good Christian man,
especially SOUTH of the river. Is it
wrong to ask God about providing a soul
mate in the same area without having to
join Equally Yoked or other dating services?
I have many friends who have joined this or
that group but do not have good results with
meeting someone of quality or someone who
seems to be healthy and filled with eagerness
to go on after a divorce. I attend church
faithfully at a protestant church, but there
are no available men whom I am interested in
at this time. After attending this church
regularly for over five years, I still feel that
God may provide a special person SOUTH of the
river. Well, that's my prayer, anyway.
It's hard to meeting someone in the early 40s
range who is now healthy and past the very
difficult stages about the difficulties of
divorce and have moved to a healthy place with God.
It is tough, that's for sure, but life does go on,
and it does get easier as God DOES provide in such a
turbulent time.
Is there anything wrong in asking God for
something of this nature? There are plenty
of Christian WOMEN who attend church alone,
but rarely do I see Christian MEN who attend
alone at ANY church, let alone the church that
I attend. Maybe a lot of them are worshipping
God in their own living room or out in their
boat trying to fish at the same time feeling
they can worship God anywhere (but then, DO they??
Really??) Ha! Anyway... feedback desired...
Sonshine

Thanks for the reply. It's kind of funny...
I forgot that MB was nation wide. Since
MB headquarters is in the Twin Cities area
of Minnesota, I was talking about this area
around here, meaning in Minnesota. I did get
a good chuckle from down in Texas, though.
But hey, it'd be a nice place to take a vacation!
I appreciated your response. I'll keep the
faith--as always.
Sonshine 4/30 8:49 p.m.
