I found out this weekend that my court date for my divorce is the end of May. It is a non-contested divorce with no kids and no assets, so the letter said that I dont have to attend. But it said i can attend and watch if i want. I am thinking of taking off work and going just to watch.
Does anyone have any input on this? think it is a good or bad idea?
I just figured this: it is easier to shoot someone if you cant see their eyes.
so I want her to see me when she divorces me.

------------------
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Go.
How did this get to the end-point so quickly? I thought you weren't going to sign the papers. I'm confused.

I know the problem was i had already signed the paper work before everyone told me not too.
I'm too the point now where i not going to try to fight it, i just need closure. and this sound awful but i want her to see me and hopefully be upset.
Im not sure but i kind of think she is in denial a little too. and by seeing me there will make her realize what she is doing is real.
------------------
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Ah, well... yeah, I still say to go... it's not completely unheard of for a spouse to back out at the eleventh hour... I hope this is what happens for you.
