I have read many post on here, and I relate to bits and pieces of everyone. My wife has been depressed for the 8 years we have been married. She never wanted to get on medication because she breast fed both of our sons. About 4 months ago she got on Prozac. On Jan 1 she told me she had a one night stand(she then revealed in counseling how much her marriage meant to her)back in the summer. Her behavior changed with the prozac. While she is not depressed, she has been going out a lot on her own and then she tells me she doesn't know if she is in love with me anymore. She says she loves me and has never stopped. I am very confused how she could love me, but not be in love and she doesn't know if she can fulfill her duties as a wife. I have not been happy with our counseling because the counselor just lets the two of us talk about our situation. I am alone, confused and scared about our future.

Branch,
Get a new counselor. One that will help you make plans to improve your marriage, and hold you accountable. One who will coach you.
I think Steve Harley at Marriagebuilders is terrific. As an alternative, you might want to try a "Solution-Oriented Brief Therapist", as described on Weiner-Davis' website www.divorcebusting.com . Steve or Michele will be able to direct you to counselors in your area who practice these principles.
