Hi... I'm going to post this and then check out for a couple of days while traveling. But, I'm curious to hear if any of you have any personal regrets for your thoughts/actions/behaviors during your personal ordeal? If so, can you share WHAT in fact, you'd do differently if you had the chance?
I'll be back when I get to Vienna...
Cheers,
Nicole
------------------
We cannot do everything at once... but we can do something at once

Tons. I regret being so upset to the point of hysterical through nost of this. I regret wearing my heart on my sleeve and allowing my stbx to use that against me. I regret not following my instinct and avoiding this whole ordeal by not marrying him. I regret not getting angry enough and allowing his flaws to reflect on me. I regret letting another person manipulate me and make me believe that all this is my fault and accepting that.
Tons of regrets and nothing I can do about it now. I'm thankful though to now know that my stbx has no feelings whatsoever for me thus freeing my guilty consience from any actions I may now take in this pending divorce.

Only about a million -- and they suck.
I'm really not in a place to list them... Off the top of my head, my top three...
I regret that I didn't take my ex-H's early affairs more seriously and embark on a plan to keep them from ever happening again...
I regret that I had the mindsight that "I would never do that" because when you do, you open yourself WIDE UP for a wake-up-call-kick-in-the-head. And I eventually did have an affair of my own.
I regret causing pain to every single person in my life, but most especially to my ex-H, my children, and myself.
------------------
~Sheryl
(a bit worse for the wear, but hanging in there)
Life is difficult.
The Road Less Traveled
~M.
