Our Ex's and STBX's don't appreciate us.<P>So what???<P>In honor of this special day - I am thanking God for giving me the gift of Motherhood to my beautiful precious children.<P>And, in celebration of all my hard work as Mom to my 3 babies (ok, 10 and 8 aren't babies really, but they will always be MY babies!)...<P>I am celebrating by dying my hair BODACIOUSLY RED and painting my toenails BODACIOUSLY PURPLE. And I'm putting on my wildest toe rings.<P>Why? Because I am worth it!!<P>So ladies, join me in taking on the world and living a tiny bit on the wild side for Mother's Day. Life is too short to spend it down in the dumps, moping about all the stuff other people have done to us.<P>OH - and my recommended reading for today, is the book: Succulent Wild Woman, by Sark. Well, my hair is already stawberry blond, and my nails are painted. So I wore my see through bra and put on a thin white shirt with blue jeans. First time in a while that I have felt even a little bodacious!! Thanks for the inspiration.

The new counselor just told me that she thinks I have a flirtatious personality. I love that idea. <P>Red fingernails! I got these lousy fingernails that grow a while then they peel and break and get terribly short again. But I'm back in the grow cycle. And I have a divine bottle of red nail polish - made by OPI called "I'm Not Really a Waitress" - it's theire best selling color. All three women in my office wear it. Haven't been able to for a couple of months because the breakage. It will soon be time for RED again.<BR>

And 'threading'.<BR>Painting mine and my daughter's nails (most recent color - blue glitter for me and purple glitter for her).<BR>And beginning to redecorate the house --- starting with the bedroom!<BR>Trip out of town for the weekend.<BR>14 people at the house for Mother's Day.<BR>And starting to go nuts with my gardening --- trading plants through the mail.<P>It's nice to smile!<P>~Amy

The origin is Middle Eastern. It can be sticky, but it doesn't damage the skin like hot wax does, and it's easier to spread than the cold wax.<P>Threading is Indian in origin; it uses twisted cotton thread. The hairs get twisted in the thread, and then yanked out. No messy wax or sugar and it's faster than using tweezers. Costs less to get done too.<P>~Amy
