I don't post too much about me...
...but today I need just a little venting.
Again the kids were with their mom (my xW)...
...I asked her, more than a week ago, if she wanted them the entire weekend...
...she said no...just Mother's Day... 10 AM to 8 PM...
...she had plans Friday & Saturday.
Then when they came home...
...more bad news...
...after blasting her first xH (my stepson' biological father(BF))... by describing in 'detail' how he allegedly raped her in the later part of their marriage... to my son... 2 months ago...
...today she is now doing the same about my mother.
My xW knows that my mother and my stepson are having disagreements about schooling and "interacting" my daughter (9 years old)...
...and now she continues to spew forth more "hatred" to him...(xW's hatred toward any family member she can)...
...and on mother's day she chose to hit him with a barrage of lies about my mother... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
The sad part of it is he is still buying into it... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
From his perspective... his mother can tell no lies... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
This after she stole his $35,000 in SSA benefits...
Told him to leave all his friends...
Told him to move out of state in his last year of High School...
Took away his dreams of becoming a pilot...
Left his brother and sister to be with her paramour...
Refuses to pay the back child support (7 months of it)...
AARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!
I have to pray for this woman even more now!
And to top it off...
...my stepson's BF... had another (3rd so far) heart attack last night...
I fear my stepson will live with only the worst possible thoughts of his BF and never meet his BF...
...life expectantcy for males on his BF's side has only once gone beyond the age of 50... and his BF is turning 43 in 3 days!
Maybe some prayers... if you can spare a bit of your time...
...I'm going on a job interview today too...
...I could really use a job.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Jim/NSR

Dear Jim,
All you have to do is ask! You will be in my prayers all day to day.
I keep reminding myself that "People in pain, cause pain." And then with prayer for my H - usually my frustration and anger fades.
Your exW must be suffering terribly to have such a need to spread the misery.
My best wishes on the interview...What kind of a job are you interviewing for?
------------------
Pain is a given, misery is optional.

Thanks BR...
...I can always count on a kind word and thought from you. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
The job is for a very large insurance company as a systems analyst...
I know I can do the job very well...
...I just hope they give me a chance to show my stuff off!
It's a bit far away (21 winding 'local' miles away up in Livingston)... but I need the benefits so badly for my kids!
I'm praying for you too...
...going through so much turmoil in your life too!
Love...
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Jim

"...and on mother's day she chose to hit him with a barrage of lies about my mother... The sad part of it is he is still buying into it... "
This has to really hurt you! What your ex is doing WILL catch up with her. Who knows when but this "parenting style" (yah right) will eventually backfire on her. Negativity burns itself out and I'm sure there is a time reserved just for her. Karma will get her someday. The hardest part is the affect it has on your children. Keep showing them the right way, it WILL pay off in time.
Positive thinking coming your way from me on landing the job you sorely need and would be great at!
(((((NSR))))) take care!
Ragamuffin

Prayers headed your way... for healing of BF, for healing of your exW, and for your son (oh heck, for the whole darned family), and for your interview.
Let us know, of course, how it goes!!

Jim,
Sorry this sad saga continues for you. I can only think that your exW's own internal unhappiness must be so great that she has to project so much hatred, anger and evil on others.
Yes, she does need prayers and I am glad you have this place to safely vent, instead of filling your kid's head with even more confusion.
Am stopping to say prayers for you and your family right now.
God bless, Desiree
------------------
"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindnesses and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort."
Sir Humphry Davy
Dear Jim,
I am so sorry that you are being given such a difficult time. Life does not always deal with us in a fair manner. The exploits of your XW's actions will eventually come up and all will see her actions as they truly are. In the meantime you are doing good. It is ok to vent here as often as you want.
Thanks for showing your humane side to us here. We often think that the strong and encouraging posters here are not suffering as much as us 'newbies'. This is far from the truth. But you all hide it soo well. (small joke).
On a lighter note, I am happy to hear about your interview. If you need any character references, I am sure many of us here will vouch for you. Right gang!?!?!?!?
Take Care,
L.
Thanks...
K,
BR,
Ragamuffin,
Kathi,
Sheryl,
Desiree,
Orchid...
FYI...
...the interview went very well 2 1/2 hours...
...talked to 4 different staffing people...
... I should find out in 4 to 10 days how interested they really are...
...they know I can more than handle the job.
The job is somewhat fixed at 9 to 5...
...I'd ideally like a more 8 to 4-ish job since the commute is about 45-55 minutes...
...and I'd like to be home more for the kids...
...but I may just have to bite the bullet.
Thanks once again...
...to the best people... anywhere.
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Jim

Woohoo Jim!!
2.5 hours is a decent time - it means they are seriously interested!!! I hope it works out for you - but you are right, that 5 oclock traffic around the Livingston/Morristown area is a real pain. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I live off of route 80 west of there...and it looks like a parking lot most nights. Bleah.

Best wishes and prayers for dealing with both of these.
I have to get serious about this job thing again. I think it's one of the last big pieces of healing I have to do.
At least on the surface.
But the rest is personal growth and forgiveness work. Not tangible, so you can see it, stuff.
