Well I have been on other boards but figured I belong here since I am divorced. Here is alitte of my story. Wife left me in jan. 2001. She was angry upset said some of the cruelest things I ever heard, we had almost no contact, in feb 2001 she moved in with OM, the truth came out. In march of 2001 we were divorced it only took 60 days, gshhhhhh. I wasn't ready for that. We settled she took money and I got everything else. It has been 2 months now we are divorced and she is in another town with OM. alot of her anger is gone but she is still in deep fog, she calls leaves messages reminding me she divorced me, whats up with that? we still have no contact. OM filed for divorce same day she did but it is not final yet. I still am on the rollercoaster. somedays I want her back so bad and others I think she really did me a favor, she wasn't good for me anyway. I am just trying to get on with my life and feel stuck at times. wondering will this ever end. I know it is still new for me and fresh. I can't understand any of this, one day everything seemed normal and the next she was gone. I feel like I never excisted to her. Is this a normal feeling?

Yes, Jabber, it's a very normal feeling. I am so sorry for the whirlwind you just experiences in the past few months. The same thing has happened to alot of us on these boards, it just took longer than 5 months! (I'm not divorced yet, just separated for 1-1/2 years.)
Please try to keep visiting and reading things here....there is a Notable Posts post somewhere, but I can't find it right now. It has lots of good info in it. Maybe someone else will come along and give you the link to it.
God bless and my prayers are with you.
Aloha,
Mrs.O
Jabber,
I understand totally where you are coming from.
a little timeline of mine.....
Jan 2001 found out my wife has having an EA with a MM.
March2001 we separtated, she told everyone it was just a separation NOT A DIVORCE.
April 2001 she filed for divorce.
May 22, 2001 will be the court date for the divorce..(quick huh?)
we have really had no contact at all for about a month or 2.
she could be with the OM, maybe not. who knows.
I dont have to go to the trial for the divorce. It is a nice no-fault, uncontested, no kids, and no assets divorce. But...im going anyway.. just so she can have me looking at her when she divorces me.
So for what it is worth i feel your pain.
Just pray everyday, it helps me.
Good luck and GOD bless.

------------------
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
