I have been divorced for alot of years now and have one child, my divorce like all other was a real mess, I found out he was cheating the whole time we were married and lied to me like crazy. well in that I havent been able to trust to many people. but a year ago I met this great man who also has a child. and we seem to have alot in common, and the kids get along fairly well, well here is the thing, he wants to move things forward as in live together. some days I want to but then others i enjoy my own space, and not to mention the fact that im really scared of letting him in and trusting him, Is a year really long enough to know someone enough???? we both have great jobs and make plenty of money. but I guess my question is--- how do I know for sure?? does anyone have any advice for me??? Im tired of losing sleep over this!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

How old is your child?
Do you want to teach him/her it is okay to live together and not have the commitment of marriage?
Living together is NOT commitment. If he wants to get “serious” then marriage is the next step.
You definitely do not sound as if you are ready for that step.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out Marriage & Relationship Resources

I would give it more time and look towards marriage, there is no commitment when living together. As far as trust life is about taking risk and if he has not given you a reason to trust him, then he deserves to be trusted until he proves different.
