Lisa,
I think we need to talk...
It seems that there are waaaay to many beautiful girls out there clamouring for our Nick.
Now as I see it, half a week at my place and half a week at your place doesn't leave him much time for anything else, right??
Well, what about a roster for ALL the girls.? A week at a time? One whole week of Nick doing yardless shirt work (WHAT!!) oh my, I mean workless shirtwork, oh my goodness, I'm really in a muddle here... Can't seem to think straight. That Indian summer seems to be back too.......whew it's hot in here..........
Now Nick, about your benefits. I have some great cabin bags left over from 2 other airlines, not much wear and tear, will they do? I realise they are second hand goods, but as the business is just starting out, will you be prepared to accept that.? We'll get you new ones as soon as we can. Oh, and btw, what's a weedwacker? I'm assuming it's something like a whippersnipper. You know, belt it around your waist and give those weeds what for!! Australia has very strict regulations about 'toys' you know. I wouldn't want to get into any trouble with you importing 'wacking' things.
I don't have a preference for colors for the spandex, however, yellow (the bright yellow that all bikeriders seem to wear) with the muscles rippling and the tan showing just gets me every time....... Is that ok with you?
My goodness this is getting exciting. Just imagine, me with my very own weedwacking, shirtless, yardworking, spandex attired incredibly muscly MAN IN MY BACK GARDEN......
I have to stop here and go and have a lie down.......
xxxxxxxx

Wow, flames!
I'm not sure I handle being yardboy for everyone. Jet lag. Breaking down my bikes every week to ship to my next job site. I might have to incorporate and subcontract some of the jobs out.
I suppose I'll have to utilize the indigenous yard tools at the various locales I'll be maintaining. Maybe even have a bike at each location. I'll have to type my equipment based on terrain and climate, and schedule my training rides around the yardwork too. This could become complicated. I might need a manager. Logistician. Travel coordinator.
Hmmm do you suppose I could get a split John Deere/Cannondale sponsorship? ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain
and makes the sun come out again

You might could also get an endorsement/sponsorship from the company that makes those racy little shorts. Or a helmet manufacturer. Or even shoes. The carrier that ships your gear? What about a waterbottle sponsor?
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif) Bottles held to the lips of the one and only "Half-Naked Nick Never Cut Your Yard Again Man." ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif)
You know, you could probably find an endorsement contract for every different piece of gear/equipment you use.

Hi again Nick,
Haven't been on the boards in a while but wanted to get back to you on the bike thing.
Just had to laugh at your comment on toteing around a bike that is worth more than the truck it's attatched to....Very true where my "H" is concerned.
As far as the tandem is concerned.......interesting you should mention it. We were just talking about it this past weekend. My "H" boss and wife are taking 2 mos to tour Europe on their tandem in Sep-Oct. It's been planned for 2 years and they have it all maped out. Sounds exciting! My "H" and I were wondering if we could actually stand eachother long enough to ride tandem. Wouldn't want to waste the funds if we won't use it enough. And if this mess ends in divorce...what a waste...and who would get the bike?
Well so long for now....d2k

Well, tandems are a fairly substantial investment, and not a big resale draw. How about getting a bike & riding too? Shared interests is huge for me, and I realize that if I ever meet someone else, there will have to some give & take, but learning to enjoy something with someone you care about would certainly help nurture a healthy relationship.
Heck, I'd even endure GOLF for the right girl ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
------------------
nick
it's only time that heals the pain
and makes the sun come out again

Now you're in trouble...just for that you need to go mow the north 40 AND weed Bonnet's flower garden...
Get busy mister!
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
Lisa
------------------
I am woman...hear me roar...okay - meow...okay - purr? Hey Lisa,
Thanks for getting Nick to weed my flower bed, I've been waiting ages......
Do you play golf? I'm just about to start having some lessons. I've wanted to do it for years now, but never had the time or the money. I still don't have either, but I figured what the heck, you're a long time in the ground!!!
On the quiet here (behind my hand) how is Nick working out for you???
He seems to be very tired all of a sudden, do you think we gave him too many girls.......all at once.....
Is he getting enough sleep I wonder???? Or is he pushing those little leggies just a little too much on his bike???
I do hope he's ok. Maybe a weekend playing beach volleyball will restore his good......"...." what's the word I'm looking for here??? I'll ponder
Have a great weekend
Jo

Thanks for the suggestion on the bike Nick. We are a step ahead of you. Been looking for a bike this summer. I like the mountain bike he likes the tour/racing style. HEY at least we like bikes.
My "H" has been traveling the country so much this season that I just might buy one w/o him...although he would take great pleasure in helping me choose...guess I'll wait. I just want to do it before the season ends here.
happy biking, d2k
