Hi BR,
A newbie on the GQII site is a bit exhausted and is dealing with A & Alcohol issues. I gave her your post from the last time and now she is asking for your assistance.
I know you are going through a lot right now. If and when you are up to it, could you please stop by and pay a visit to 'tossedwave'?
Here is her thread:
http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/Forum37/HTML/009328.html
Thanks again,
L.
Hey you two... I have a question. I see that you are posting over on general question II as well as over here. Can you tell me the reason for that? I mean, what is the purpose of that forum? And HOW the heck are you keeping track of so many people's stories?!
------------------
We cannot do everything at once... but we can do something at once

Originally, there was JUST the infidelity section, and everyone posted there. It was really, really busy. We voted, at the time, and it was decided to seperate out the issues. That's how this board came about.
I post on this board, EN's, GQ's and I bop around all over the place, look for newbies, or hit threads that touch on things I know about.
One of the reasons I can keep track of stories is because we all began at the same place. So, for example, I "met" Nellie on the Infidelity board 18 months ago, and she posts on GQ and D/D. I "met" Truthseeker on the "Why Woman Leave Men" board, and she now posts on EN's only. Does this make sense??

------------------
~Sheryl
And we know. We who have seen. ~Pellegrino

I rarely post over in GQ. I find it very painful and very frustrating - and since I am unable to detach, I just stay away. There are too many people there who show up looking for a quick fix, and aren't really willing to listen to what we are sharing with them. So for my own sanity, I stay over here!
I like it over here on the D/D board. It's a nice cozy smallish group of people that I can keep track of, and I feel that I am coming to know. I can't keep track of all the stories on GQ!!
------------------
Pain is a given, misery is optional.

Hi Bramble Rose,
Thanks so much for getting back. Your help as always is greatly appreciated.
Dear Ovcs,
Yes, I primarily look at 2 sites GQII and d/d. For a while I even looked at the preg/child (as a supporter at another posters request) and the plana/b site.
Many view several sites. In my case, I started out on the JFO, recovery, GQII and d/d. I received tremendous support on both sites and have shared comments, followed the stories of many.
For a while, I was headed down the d/d path. Fairly certain that was where I was going to be. At this time (I am still a bit skeptical), my H has moved back home and is suppose to be working towards recovery. I do frequently check the d/d and GQII. Yes, it is hard to keep up with everyone. Since we all have busy schedules we can not all be there for everyone, but I believe the board has increased in stability and strength over the past 2 months and now see a greater trend to not just giving our personal opinions but offering the help that is available at this site along with some of the valuable research that others have found. For me this has been real helpful. When I get the opportunity, I like to share it with others.
Hope this has answered your concern. I have been reading your story also.
Take Care.
L.
