MY WIFE OF 11 YEARS FILED IN EARLY MARCH I'M ASKING FOR AT LEAST 128 DAYS OF VISITION RIGHTS. W SAID I CAN NOT AFFORD THIS MONEY WILL BE TIGHT SO SHE IS REFUSING ME THE 128 DAYS DO I TAKE HER TO COURT OR JUST LEAVE IT LIE?

I don't understand what visitation has to do with money. Is there a distance to travel? Are you requesting to not pay support during those days?<P>In my state, you get visitation orders separate from custody and child support orders. Since they are separate, they are dealt with separately. So you do not have to tie the support to the visitation.<BR>

Oic Hawkie!<P>WEll, you could always pay her the same anyways... if the real point is to see your daughter.<P>She is right -- her bills are the same whether you have d for 128 days or not. And she has to keep a home for d and I know you want d to be happy.<P>Or compromise... give her a little more $$$ and still take the discount making the figures come out to a compromise..... <P>Your daughter is the point and I know the reason the Iowa has this law is to keep the dads involved. It sounds like it is working in your case, but you may need to give your ex a little more to make your d's life full and complete as it can be with you two apart.
