Hi, Mitzi,
REad your reply about you received sole legal and physical custody of your children.
I am very interested in knowing more about how this worked out this way.
Did you have plenty enough facts to prove that your having sole legal and sole physical custody was in the best interest of your children?
Would like to know more about how you and your attorney worked together on this issue to be successful...this is very important to me because you noted: our situations seem to have many common threads...similar yet different
Please respond soon...elo

elo,
It was easy for me to get custody of my sons. My ex is an alcoholic, drug addict and is physically abusive. He doesn't want the responsibility of taking care of kids cause it will take away his party time.
Now, if I had had to fight for custody it would have been easy. I would have requested drug testing. Also the woman that he is living with doesn't have the healthiest environment for children. About a year before my ex moved in with her, a man shot another man because she was sleeping with both of them. I told my attorney everything I knew.
Use driving records and criminal records, and anything else you need to ensure that your children are kept safe. Just make sure you're fighting for the right reasons (the children). Good luck!!
Mitzi [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
