Well, Gnome de Plume, you know me and my ever-so-slightly warped sense of humor. I was envisioning the rules to "Pin the Toupee on the Bald Guy", and I was chuckling to myself. When I reflected upon the full-body contact sport, "Red Rover, Red Rover the Nurse says Bend Over", then I started to giggle slightly. Ah! I guess I take my games more seriously than some. I have to admit that the Red Rover variant suggested doesn't inspire me to smile at all!
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Our first playtime together and I am already providing sound effects (batting eyelashes innocently). Boy, it seems like no one else wants to play the growing older games. I guess they just don't know how fun Spin the Bottle of Mylanta can be--especially when the lid is not on tightly! They don't know what they're missing.
CJ

------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Now, Gnome de Plume, are you playing Sag You're It? or are you running away? Well, you know...moving your cane quickly away at least?
Nick, since you refuse to grow up, you can play. Can I tell you my favorite game? Spinning on the merry-go-round. I LOVE that! It's so childish and fun-hearted. I also like swinging WAY up high, but spinning is more fun. So it rolling down a hill, but it keeps breaking my hip! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Mitzi, you are a girl, right? Do girls get "Peter Pan" syndrome? Maybe we get "Tinkerbell" syndrome or something. I prefer to get Goldie Hawn syndrome--she keeps getting older but she doesn't look a day over 30! WOWWEE!
Well, Nick and Mitzi, I think GDP wants to play Sag You're It, but I'm not sure. Shall we play on the playground for a while?
CJ
------------------
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

No, no. I segued smoothly from "Red Rover, Red Rover, the nurse says Bend Over" to "Hide and go pee". The final actions of the latter game involuntarily induced by the thought of continuing the former. I now refuse to play any more of these games except "Simon says something incoherent".
In the absence of extraneous idiom, an obfuscatory prospect is idiomatic. How now, brown cow? @%$&! May the sunrise eat you.
