CLG,
Hang in there this week. Don't push your H it sounds like he may be coming around a bit. I think that you were right to not grab onto him when he laid down next to you. Just allowing him to do that on his own terms was probably best.
Wishing you the best.

CLG- I have been where you are now recently with my H. They are very confused when they are thinking about the pros and cons of reconciling. Dont try to rush the physical affection- I know you crave it- believe me I did TOO! MY H wasnt intimate with me for 7 mo- 3mo near the end of his A and the following 4 mo when he was confused. My counselor urged me to wait him out and not press for it. I did and when H was finally ready it was excellent!Try to treat him as a friend right now- dont be desperate or clingy though you may feel like it. Vent here or to your friends. Time is on your side! Its worth waiting for. Let your H have time to wrestle with his emotions. Its great youre going to counseling mine refused to go at first but I went by myself and eventually he started going- reluctantly at first- he would just sit there but now he even participates! I am hoping things will work out eventually for you and your H ! lifeismessy

P.S. I recently mentioned I was trying to pray in my own words. But that I havent felt anything for a mass service in yrs & am not a religious person.
But anyway, today I found that book "The Power of a Praying Wife" by Stormie OMartian. Someone in one of these forums had mentioned it & I wrote it down at the time. It is exactly what I've been looking for recently. Maybe I didnt find it before because I was too angry, hurt & defensive. I want to be able to forgive & trust etc & be a better person in the hopes that my prayers would be answered. I look forward to reading it. It divides husbands life into chapters on his work, health, emotions etc. Looks good. I am battling my little anxietes this week, but friends are helping. Keep praying for H & I both!
