Just got an e-mail from my MIL, saying she is worried about us, but trying to stay outta things because it's between me and her son. She has lied to cover for him before. My response was" We are fine. The kids will start counseling next week, I refuse to let him hurt any of us anymore. He is M******'s problem now." Short and to the point I thought.I knew they(the in laws) would try to hop in on all this sooner or later. They, she especially, knows how he has treated us, but I understand "blood is thicker........." and they also try to justify his behavior. Can't wait for her response. I feel kinda sick, it may be mean.

alone now, ThornedRose, hopefulheart, Snowwhite, Maybe, and CAGNEY,
Wow. My H sounds just like all of yours. And, an, I am also feeling better the longer I'm away from him. We ran a business together. I was scared I wouldn't be able to do it alone, but I'm not alone. I have the support of all of our employees and I'm starting to believe we can do it.
It is wonderful not having to hear what a terrible person I am on a daily basis and to constantly compare myself to the OW and wonder why he chose her instead of me. I have a temporary restraining order to keep him away from our home and our business. That really helps.
It feels good to know I'm not alone in this.
