I was talking to my sis tonight and she told me a story that had me laughing out loud...
My dad's mom is 86 years old, I am her baby as I am the oldest of two C****** male grandchildren that have our last name. I am older than my cousin Mike by 7 years. I was Gram's first grandchild that she took care of, as in daycare. Couple that with my fouled left hand and she has a certain connection with me that my other 52 cousins do not share...
Anyhoo...A month or so ago she was dusting her pictures. She has portraits of of all her children and thier children's families on her walls in the living room. The great grand children are on her dresser. Well, she came across the portrait that Robin and I sent her when Abbey was a year old. She took it down and sent it to my cousin Danny and had him Digitally remove Robin from the portrait, so now only Abbey and I grace her hallowed wall.
She was quoted as saying "No one does that to my baby."
Some may view this as extreme but I will give my gram her due, she has seen and put up with too much in her life and can choose who will and who will not grace her walls.
God bless her.
Bill

Yea, I think the older generations haven't bought into the "do whatever makes you feel good" and subjective morals that are so prevalent today.

Loved it Bill
Your grandma sounds much like my dear departed and missed Grandma. Thankfully she had already passed when this all went down. So she never was hurt by this.
Kuddos to your Grandma. I was also my Grandma's favorite too. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
------------------
God bless you and all of us.
